Who We Are

Michael Ajagbe
NCAA Division 1
I am an NCAA Division I soccer player at Loyola University Maryland with experience training alongside the Canadian Premier League team Vancouver FC. Training and competing in elite environments has taught me the importance of discipline, consistency, and high standards that I bring into every session at Young Baller Academy.
My love for the game and passion for player development inspired me to create YBA, a platform dedicated to helping players grow technically, mentally, and tactically. My goal is to build confident, intelligent, and hardworking players by providing high-quality, purposeful training in a positive and motivating environment.
At YBA, every session is structured to challenge players, sharpen their skills, and improve their understanding of the game, giving them the foundation needed to reach the next level.
Anthany De Sousa
Canadian U-SPORTS
My game is built around creativity, intelligent movement, and making an impact in the final third. I’ve had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe, competing against top-level teams such as Villarreal, Valencia, and other elite academies, which exposed me to the speed, intensity, and professionalism required at the highest levels.
I am currently a U-SPORTS athlete playing for the UFV Cascades, continuing to compete at a high level while representing my Portuguese and English roots through a balance of technical flair, structure, and discipline.
My goal is to build players from the ground up, focusing on strong fundamentals, game intelligence, and confidence. I’m passionate about helping young players develop properly, guiding them through their journey, and giving them the tools, mindset, and belief needed to reach their goals and chase their dreams in the game.

Brody Perkins
Canadian U-SPORTS
I’ve had the chance to travel and play internationally, competing against top academies in Spain and England, including teams like Valencia and playing against clubs like Crystal Palace and Leeds United. Being exposed to different styles of play and coaching has helped me pick up a ton of knowledge from coaches at every level.
I now compete in U SPORTS for the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades, and I use everything I’ve learned from high-level football to help players improve their game — whether that’s technical ability, confidence on the ball, or understanding the game at a higher level.
